The Letter to My Queen

Dear Erica,

Man I don’t even know where to start but I’ll start off by thanking you for gracing my screen this year. I’ve never been one to watch the big brother show. I’ve always heard about the show and the hype but I was never interested. I’m going to tell you a shocking story and how you were a key factor in it. This year was really rough for me. I had so many plans and goals to fulfill but because of the pandemic and the lockdown, they were all put on hold. Can you imagine? Anyway I was okay for a while until depression hit me. I never believed I could be depressed but I was really down. I could hardly eat or laugh or smile at all. This is a true story. My friend helped a bit by encouraging me to do things that’ll make me happy but that wasn’t enough. I had been hearing about this lockdown edition of big brother everywhere so I looking forward to it and see what the fuss was all about. To be very honest I didn’t notice you on the first day and I’m sure other members of the Elites league are guilty of this and that was a good thing because people never saw you coming. You’re the ultimate game changer. The first time noticed was when you were having fun and dancing at the dining table with other housemates and I was like who’s this beautiful happy girl with the contagious smile. I was happy at that moment. Don’t forget I was depressed now lol. So I looked forward to seeing you all the time. Your smile always lifted my heart. The first time I heard you sing I fell in love with you again. You have such and an amazing voice and because we’re both love Beyoncé I fell again. I don’t regret not noticing you on the first day because you came like a storm into my life. I was so happy when you won head of house for the first time. I danced a much and thanked God. Erica Ngozi Nlewedim you were the cure to my depression and I’m not making this up. I and other elites love you so much. I’m so happy that you’re loved and you deserve. I will always remember you as the person that made me feel happy and ready to live my life to the fullest. I hope you achieve all your dreams and you also make your beautiful mum happy because you’re a Star now. I love you. Thank you Erica.
