Dear Erica,

Ngozi’m, Ugo’m, you’re such a beautiful person inside and out, but your beauty shines most in your vulnerability, your scars and your flaws.

You remind me of Kintsukuroi- a broken vessel that has been put together with gold, becoming even more beautiful and stronger than it was before it broke.

Through your life, I am convinced that good always wins no matter what. Through your life I can clearly see God’s promises for His children in scripture come alive. Exodus 14:14 God is currently fighting your battles as you hold your peace. Psalm 23:5 God is literally preparing a table for you in the presence of your enemies. You are a living testimony and I am glad to be a part of your life in some way.

You are loved and highly favored, Blessing of the Most High. You have a whole nation of women who see themselves in you. The way we love you reminds me of God’s unconditional love for us.

From your sister,Olufunmi.
